Nepenthes spathulata x spectabilis "Giant" combines 2 absolutely massive parents. Nepenthes spathulata produces enormous green pitchers with burgundy peristomes, while Nepenthes spectabilis "Giant" makes spectacular black and white mottled pitchers with distinctively striped peristomes. Together, these giant pitcher plants have made quite impressive offspring. These Nepenthes spathulata x spectabilis "Giant" are seed grown, so each one has a unique combination of its parent's features! Representative specimens of both parents are shown in the alternate photographs.

This giant pitcher plant will be shipped bare-root with a 3" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions for this giant pitcher plant will also be included.

Arrived in great condition and shipped very quickly.  This is the 2nd time ordering plants from this site.  The service and plants are fantastic.  
Spathulata x spectabilis "Giant" is Incredible!!!  A "must have" for collectors.  Pitchers are mottled bright red and green, absolutely beautiful, (they are not even mature yet).  Based on what they look like now, the pitchers will be "giant" when full grown.   I can't speak about the ease of care, hopefully, they are forgiving.
