Drosera capensis "Alba" seeds: Drosera capensis, also called the cape sundew, is perhaps the perfect carnivorous plant for a beginner. The 'alba' variety of cape sundew has all-white leaves instead of the typical red coloration. Cape sundew grow large stems with many long, green leaves.

Drosera capensis 'Narrow' seeds: Drosera capensis, also called the cape sundew, is perhaps the perfect carnivorous plant for a beginner. They grow large stems with many long, green leaves. The end of each leaf is covered in small tentacles with tiny droplets of mucilage on each one.

Borneo Bats Live in Pitcher Plants
A recent study has revealed that bats native to Borneo frequently inhabit the roomy pitchers of some of the native species of tropical pitcher plant. It is suggested that the plants receive nutritious fertilization from the bat droppings, while the bats enjoy a protective and secure shelter. Photo credit: BBC
