Description
 
The pitchers of Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi are mostly green with red veins.  They are more compact than most other erect species of Sarracenia, and become quite colorful late in the growing season.  Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi are also well known for their bright red flowers.

Temperature
Sarracenia rubra require temperatures between 60-100F during growth, and 30-50F during dormancy.

Purified only.  Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi are very sensitive to nutrients and other dissolved solids in water.
