Pinguicula medusina gets its name from its mass of skinny, twisted, snakelike leaves that resemble the head of Medusa from Greek mythology.  They produce white, or slightly purple flowers.  The surfaces of their leaves and flower stems are covered with droplets of glistening adhesive.  Insects become stuck to these surfaces, and are then digested.  These plants specialize in catching gnats, fruit-flies, and other small insects.
Product Details
Pinguicula medusina prefers warm, humid conditions all year. Their soil should be kept damp at all times, and they are good candidates for growing on a sunny windowsill.
