This butterwort is best known for having beautiful pink leaves instead of the green color seen on almost all other butterworts. Pinguicula 'Weser' can grow well at room temperature on a sunny window. 'Weser' is a hybrid of Pinguicula ehlersiae and Pinguicula moranensis. The surfaces of the leaves and flower stems are covered with droplets of glistening adhesive. Insects become stuck to these surfaces, and are then digested. Pinguicula specialize in catching gnats, fruit-flies, and other small insects. At this time we only offer potted specimens of Pinguicula 'Weser'.
