They can adapt to a wide variety of growing conditions, and are very rewarding to grow. This variety of Nepenthes truncata is known as 'Pasian Red' and is extremely rare in cultivation.

Product Details
Grow Nepenthes truncata in partial sun at room temperature and keep damp year round. Nepenthes don't appreciate water-logged conditions, so keep the pot well drained and don't leave it in a tray of water. They appreciate high humidity, so regular misting is recommended. This is a highland variety of Nepenthes truncata, so they appreciate moderately warm days and cooler nighttime temperatures.

Predatory Plants sells excellent stock May 22, 2014

Pasian Red is known as a slow growing species if you new count leaves  per month, but each new leaf during it's juvenile stage is considerably larger than the last, with pitchers that can last the entire growing season. My Pasian Highland doubled in size in the same season from a 3" starter.

It's important to buy from a good dealer like PP to minimize the shock on a modest grower like this so you can get to growing sooner and take full advantage of the season! I cannot stress this enough. I have bought many ebay plants, but the ones sourced from Josh I can just throw outside in Zone 9 weather and they take off on their own.
