Nepenthes maxima produces large, red-speckled pitchers with ornate golden rims around their openings.  They grow very quickly and can adapt to a variety of conditions.  These are the Tentata variety of Nepenthes maxima.  In high light levels, the leaves of this variety become almost entirely red.  These plants are large-sized, which means they have leaf-spans from 6" to 12".  These Nepenthes maxima will be shipped bare-root with their roots wrapped in damp moss.
