Nepenthes alba is a fantastic miniature species that is truly charming. Nepenthes alba has rich, dark leaves and a small growth habit, making it a great candidate for a cool terrarium or windowsill.
However, the most striking feature of Nepenthes alba is the extreme difference between its lower and upper pitchers. The lower pitchers of Nepenthes alba are a deep shade of purplish brown with dark splotches and only grow to be around 4" tall. The upper pitchers of Nepenthes alba are about the same size of the lower pitchers, but are a striking cream-color with pink or red splotches.
